PUBLIC INVITED TO KNITTERS CONNECTION CLASSES AND EXHIBITS FROM JUNE 15-17 “This is our sixth year,” said Knitters Connection representative Jan Emerick. The Knitters Marketplace in Exhibit Hall D will be open the evening of June 15 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a student preview, June 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 17. Vendors range from the Buffalo Wool Co. to Lucky Cat Craft. The “Saturday Evening Event” will feature a book signing, hors d’oeuvres and a fashion show. Registration packages range from “The Whole Kit & Caboodle” to a la carte offerings for which attendees can register in person when arriving at the venue. Morning classes convene from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., afternoon classes will meet from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., while the all-day classes will be conducted from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and include a two-hour lunch break. Classes range from “10 Things Your Mother Never Told You About” to “The Perfect Skirt for Any Body.” Knitters Connection is sponsored by Knitters Mercantile, a full-service yarn shop located in Graceland Shopping Center in Columbus. “During this event, top fiber artists have the opportunity to meet with knitting and crocheting instructors, authors and vendors introducing new products,” said SMG Regional General Manager Craig M.
